Muffin was in for 60 days of ground work and re-halter breaking. He did great and has a brilliant mind. Muffin is going to start showing in halter this year and will eventually be shown in western pleasure. He has finished his ground work training and returned home.

Ember is a 12 year old Arab Pony cross that was in for a 30 day tune up. She was acting up and having issues when leaving her pasture or barn for a ride. She is doing great and has just went back home. More updates to come on my testimonial page when her owners have time to try her out and evaluate her behavior.

Honey is a 7 year old mare that came in for a 30 day tune up. She had issues and hadn't been ridden in 2 years. She just finished up her 30 days and is doing great. She does show some issues and is to sensitive to leg cues that make her unsafe for a beginner rider. We did have a chiropractor out for her and found she had hip and shoulder issues. Her owners will be taking lessons and finding a more suitable horse for a beginner..

Jewel is a 3 year old filly in for 30 to 60 days of training. She had not been ridden and had very little ground work. She has several rides on her and is doing good. She is very willing to learn and her owners are going to love her attitude. She has been out on several trail rides and did great. She is back home now.

Raj is in for a 60 day training period. He is a 10 year old who has had several years of good ground work done and just needed to be ridden and miles put on him. He is a very sensitive gelding and is a delight to work with. Raj finished his training in 30 days and went home and was used as a trail horse and did great.

Paige is a 4 yr old mare that was in for just a few weeks as a quick start so the owners could finish her. They just wanted to see what type of a horse she was. Paige is a great girl that is extremely athletic. She is definitely to smart for her own good but she will go a long way with the right training.

Magic is a 17 yr Mustang gelding that is in for a 30 day tune up. Magic hasn't been ridden for 2 years. We started riding him and he is doing great. He is a bit spooky and we will be de-sensitizing him to many different things during his training period. Magic has been on several trail rides and is coming along nicely. Majic finished his training and went home and is doing good.

Scooter is a 4 yr gelding that was in for 30 days ground work and 30 days training during the first part of last  summer and is back for a tune up and summer boarding. His owner was unable to ride him much during the winter and is ready to go. Scooter has bloomed into a magnificent horse in the past few months and is now a huge 16.1 hand 1300 lb softy. His owner is taking lessons on him

Buddy is a 13 yr Arab cross that hasn't been ridden in a year. He came in for a 2 week tune up and did great. He was taken on several trail rides  and did wonderful. We had to work on getting him to neck rein again and he remembered everything after a few sessions. Buddy is home now and his owner says his only problem is going out on trails and leaving his life long buddy so we will be going on a few rides at his place and teaching him that he has to go off by himself and it won't hurt him.

Apache is a 7 yr Paint mare that came to us for a tune up and to be trained as a child's horse. Apache was trained by another trainer and is very sensitive to leg cues and is very spooky. She also has extreme issue with her hind feet being messed with.  Apache will go thru extensive desensitization for 30 to 90 days depending on how well she does. Apache is home and doing good for her owner..

Flash is a 2 yr old Morgan cross gelding that is in for 30 days training. He hasn't had much ground work and we have been working with him on his manners. Flash is doing great and has been started under saddle. Flash's owner is going to use him for a trail horse. She is legally blind so flash will need to be her eyes and learn to be a calm safe mount. Flash went home for the winter and will come back in the spring for a tune up.

Otto is a 5 yr Percheron Gelding that came in for 30 days training. He bolted when mounting and was spooky and ultra sensitive to his surroundings. We desinsitized Otto to multiple surroundings and took him on several trail rides and tought him to give to pressure. Otto is now a wonderfull addition to his family and will not have to be sold. Otto is ridden on trails and thru town by his owner.

Zeus is a 4 yr AQHA Cremello stallion that is owned by April Gallion of Mc Arthur. He came to me this summer for 30 days saddle training and ground work. Zeus has been a pleasure to start form the beginning and has a great mind and temperament. Zeus walks, trots, and canters on cue. He leg yields, side passes and turns on the haunches. He is still perfecting his stop and is working on turning on the forehand. He has been here for 2 weeks and will stay another 30+ days.

Brooks is a 2 yr AQHA gelding that has been saddled and all groundwork done by his owner. She was unsure on how to continue his training and called me. I have been working with Brooks for 2 weeks and he has progreesed to a walk, trot and canter. He is stopping and backing and learning to break at the pole. He is side passing and doing great.

Fancie is an 8 yr AQHA mare that came in for 30 days ground work as she was very disrespectful and unmanageable. She quickly became a sweet horse with consistency and direction. Her owner Kali from Eureka CA opted for 30+ days saddle training. She is a very smart horse that defiantly has attitude although she is eager to learn. She is working off of legs, turning on the forehand/haunches, side passing, backing ect. She walks, trots, canters and stops on a dime. She is neck reining and working on lead changes.

Fancy is a 4yr AQHA mare that came in for 30 days ground work and riding tune up/restart as she was completely disrespectful and unmanageable. When Fancy realized that we were not going to hurt her for making mistakes, she quickly became a sweet horse with consistency and direction. Her owner Bonnie is hoping to have her show in Halter and Western Pleasure this spring. Fancy is a very soft horse and is ready and willing to learn. I have her walk, trotting and cantering on cue. We are perfecting her Jog at this time and she is doing great. We are working on turns on the forehand and haunches. She is great with her side passing and stops.
Here are some of the horses in for the 2009 training season.
