Muffin is a 6 month palomino quarter horse stud colt. Muffin had never been handled and had a umbilical hernia that needed  to be repaired and he needed to be gelded. His owner was going to take him to the vet but the vet would not accept him unless he was halter broke so she called me. I went out and fixed her panels into a round pen and started the "Join Up" process and within 2 hrs I had Muffin haltered and walking easily on a lead. I was even able to rub all over his body. His owner was then able to lead him and touch him for the first time in the few months she had owned him. Remember that when halter breaking in this short amount of time the owner is responsible to continue on a 2 or 3 times daily routine of haltering and leading or a horse/colt will revert back to the wild side.
